Trifid camera pricing

For pricing purposes, a Trifid-2 camera consists of two parts: the camera and an imaging chip. Yankee Robotics charges $3,175 for a Trifid-2 camera; the price of the imaging chip we pass-through from Kodak to you. This means that you pay what we pay for the imaging chip. Your total cost depends on the size and the grade or class of imaging chip you choose.

Prices

All Trifid-2 and Trifid Gold cameras include four standard options: a Pelican case, USB and power cables and software drivers. Unless specified otherwise, prices are for class two sensors with no cover glass.

Warranty

The Trifid Camera and software comes with several industry leading warranties. THere is a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The seals on the cold chamber have a two year warranty against leaks. The imaging chip comes with a one year warranty from Kodak. The shutter comes with a 1,000,000 cycle warranty from the shutter manufacturer.

Yankee Robotics also provides a thirty-day no-questions-asked return policy if you are not completely satisfied.

Imaging Cavity Recharge

During the manufacturing process, we assemble Trifid Cameras in a low humidity atmosphere we create using pure argon. This dry air fills the imaging cavity to prevent condensation and frost from forming on the imaging chip and to provide thermal insulation around the imaging chip. We guarantee for two years that the imaging cavity will remain dry. If the imaging cavity needs recharged and the desiccant replaced after two years the charge is $25.

We offer a three percent discount for payments made by cash or check. In addition, any camera order which is paid for by cash or check also receives free FedEx 2-day shipping and handling within the continental United States or a $50 credit towards shipping and handling anywhere else in the world.
